Hostel Detroit Policies to Note

  • Hostel Detroit DOES NOT ACCEPT WALK-INS. All reservations must be made prior to arrival through our website.
  • Reservations must be made with our online reservation system.
  • All bookings must be made prior to arrival.
  • A credit or debit card must be used for payment.
  • Our office hours are 11am till 11pm. Call us at 313-451-0333 if you have any questions. Please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as 
  • possible.
  • All reservations requests are subject to availability and reservations must be completed before your arrival.
  • You will receive an email invoice/receipt for your booking upon completing your reservation.
  • You will receive an individualized code for our front door separately from your booking confirmation.
  • Hostel Detroit does not allow pets.
  • Kitchens are self service, please clean as you go!
  • Check in time is between 3pm to 11pm. Check out time is 11AM.
  • If you arriving past 11pm, please contact us at hello@hosteldetroit.com so we can provide you with check-in information.
  • Luggage can be kept at the hostel after checkout
  • Lockers with combination locks are available for valuables at no cost (Please bring your own lock!)

Cancellation Policy

24 hour notice via email (reservations@hosteldetroit.com) is required for cancellation requests. Cancellations may be made at no charge up until 24 hours before 1pm on the arrival date. Cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the first night’s stay.
Groups of 8+ require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. 14 days notice is required for cancellations to be eligible for a refund on the remaining 50%.
